Feeding Group for ages 5-7 year olds

Fridays 1:30-3:00 pm
July 25-29 AND July 30-August 3, 2012

A 1-week, intensive feeding group for picky eaters. The Lunch Bunch will focus on:

• Expanding food choices
• Sensory processing for various textures
• Having fun with food
• Increasing comfort levels around new foods

Cost: $460 for one week, $900 for two weeks

We are offering 1 and 2 week options this year in order to provide both an “intensive booster” for kids attending weekly feeding therapy and to “jumpstart” kids who are at the beginning of their feeding therapy.

Dates:
SPRING SESSION: March 21-May 30, 2012

SUMMER SESSION: July 11th – August 15th

This group will be led by a licensed Occupational Therapist from Myania Moses and Associates and credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist from Building Blocks Therapy. The Pre-K Play Group works to build skills in the areas of language & play, sensory-motor development, and school readiness.

Sessions will include:

• Circle Time
• Gross Motor Play
• Expansion of Expressive, Receptive & Pragmatic Language Skills
• Craft (Fine-Motor Skills)
• Cooperative and Imaginative Play Skills
